In this course, we have included a series of "Feedback Labs" where you can reflect on material from course lectures and readings. To complete these assignments, you can use Gamut Workbook , a journaling tool where you can write, save, and revise your notes. You can also export your Gamut Workbook notes and save them on your personal device for future reference.

What is the Gamut Workbook?

When you arrive at an LTI Gamut Workbook task, you will encounter a digital place to save notes and reflections that are indexed to exercises within the course.

What can the Gamut Workbook do?

You can record ideas and responses to prompts the instructor provides. You can reflect on your learning experiences throughout the course through the provided prompts and links placed throughout the course.

Tour of the Gamut Workbook

Throughout the course, you’ll find links to the Gamut Workbook. Any time you would like to use the Workbook, you’ll see a link similar to the image below. Check the box for “I understand that submitting work that isn’t my own may result in permanent failure of this course or deactivation of my Coursera account.” Click the Open Tool button to launch the Workbook.

The first time you use the Workbook, you will need to set up a profile. After you set up an account, each time you access the Workbook, you’ll see a section of the Workbook that is relevant to the content being covered in the course. Each section has one or more activities for you to complete. You’ll be provided with a prompt and, at times, an appropriate example response.

You can also export your Workbook so you have a personal copy of your work saved where you’d like it. You can export any combination of sections you’d like.

We hope you find using this tool fun and intuitive to navigate. Remember to come back to our course in Coursera to continue working through content when you've finished the exercises!
